Hybrid Mix 115mm Climbing Skins

The CONTOUR HYBRID MIX is a ski touring skin that demonstrates great functionality. Offered by the Camp brand, this model manufactured by Contour benefits from the proven HYBRID technology.

Benefiting from the advantages of Hybrid technology, this skin is made up of two different layers of technical glue. This allows a perfect alliance between the ski base and the back of the skin. The big advantage is that it prevents snow from getting between the ski and the skin. In addition, all the advantages of "glueless" skins are present: excellent hold even at very low temperatures and after multiple handling, no re-gluing since the adhesive can simply be cleaned with warm water to be reactivated.

To attach it to the ski, no tools are required, the varioclips at the front allow you to easily change the front edge according to the width and shape of the tip. The adjustable tailclip at the back is also suitable for twin-tip skis.
Offered here in 115mm width, this version is particularly suited to freerando skis with a width between 100 and 115mm at the waist.

Technologies used

Alpine ski geometry varies depending on the skier's skill level and style. Beginners prefer short skis with moderate camber and slight rocker, while advanced skiers opt for longer skis with pronounced camber for stability at high speeds. For off-piste skiing, wide skis with rocker improve flotation. Each geometry is designed to optimize performance in specific conditions.

The radius of a ski determines the curvature of its edges and influences the type of turns it allows. A small radius offers tighter and more precise turns, ideal for slalom and technical slopes. On the other hand, a large radius favors wide and fluid turns, better suited to speed and large curves.

The length of skis affects their maneuverability and stability. Shorter skis are easier to maneuver, making them suitable for beginners or skiers looking for quick turns. On the other hand, longer skis offer better stability at high speeds and are preferred for off-piste or big turns.
